1. Agreeing to these terms

By creating an account, signing in, or using quizade.com (the "service"), you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Community Guidelines. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. These terms are run by an individual developer, referred to as "we" or "us".

2. Who can use QuizAde

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian knows you are using the service and is okay with it. If you use QuizAde for a class or organization, you confirm you are allowed to. You must give accurate sign-up information and may keep only one account for yourself.

3. Your account

Keep your password and sign-in methods private. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed it.
Don't share, sell or transfer your account, and don't create extra accounts to get around limits.
You can stop using QuizAde at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account.

4. What the service does

QuizAde reads study material you provide and uses artificial intelligence to write practice tests, check answers, edit tests by chat and give feedback on your written work. It is a practice tool. It is not a school, a tutor, or a source of official grades, advice or credentials.

5. Your material

You own it. You keep all rights in what you upload and type. We don't claim ownership.
You have the right to use it. You confirm that you own it or have permission to use it, and that uploading it doesn't break the law, anyone's rights or your school's rules.
Permission to process it. You give us, and the AI providers we use, a limited permission to copy, transmit and process your material, and to produce results from it, only so we can provide the service to you.
Stored in your browser. Your files and tests live in your browser, not on our servers. If you clear your data or change device, they are gone. We can't restore them, so back up what matters.

6. AI-generated content

Tests, answers, explanations, charts, grades and chat replies are produced by AI and can be wrong, incomplete, out of date or unfit for your course. We try to double-check multiple-choice answers, but we can't promise they are correct. Always check important facts against your own notes, textbook and teacher. A grade from QuizAde is feedback to help you practice, not a real grade. You are responsible for how you use the results.

Because similar inputs can lead to similar outputs, the same or similar questions may be produced for other people. You may use the tests QuizAde writes for you for your own studying and non-commercial sharing with classmates.

7. Acceptable use

You agree to follow our Community Guidelines. In particular, you won't:

upload illegal content, other people's private information without permission, or material you have no right to copy;
use QuizAde to cheat in a way your school or exam rules forbid, or to find the answers to a secured exam;
try to bypass credit limits, rate limits or other protections, or use bots, scripts or scrapers on the service;
probe, attack, overload, reverse engineer or interfere with the service, other users' accounts, or the AI providers behind it;
use the service to build or train a competing product or to resell access to it;
try to make the AI produce harmful, hateful, harassing or deceptive content.

8. Daily credits and limits

QuizAde is currently free. Each account gets a daily allowance of credits, which reset at midnight UTC and don't carry over. Different actions cost different amounts, and failed requests are refunded. We may change the allowance, costs or limits at any time, may add paid plans in the future, and may slow or pause features when demand is high or our AI providers are unavailable. If we introduce a charge, we'll tell you before you are asked to pay anything.

9. Availability

We work to keep QuizAde running, but we don't promise it will always be available, fast or error-free. It depends on third-party services (including Cloudflare and Google) that can fail or change. We may change, suspend or end any part of the service at any time.

10. Our property

The QuizAde name, logo, design, software and site content (other than your material and the results made for you) belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may use the service as these terms allow, but you may not copy, modify, distribute or sell any part of it without our written permission.

11. Third-party services

The service relies on and may link to third-party services, such as AI providers and Google or Apple sign-in. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them. We aren't responsible for them.

12. Suspension and ending your account

We may warn you, limit features, remove content or suspend or close your account if you break these terms or the Community Guidelines, if your use puts the service or others at risk, or if the law requires it. You can stop using QuizAde at any time. Sections that by their nature should continue after your account ends, such as those about ownership, disclaimers, limits of liability and disputes, will continue to apply.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent the law allows, QuizAde is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, availability and non-infringement. We don't promise that results will help you earn any grade or pass any exam.

14. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost grades, lost study time or lost opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Because the service is free, our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to the greatest of the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (which is currently zero) and fifty US dollars. Some places don't allow certain limits, so some of this may not apply to you, and nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that can't be waived.

15. Disputes

If you have a problem, please contact us first so we can try to sort it out informally. These terms are interpreted under the laws that apply where we are based, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be handled in the courts there, unless the law of your location gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll give a clearer notice, such as a message when you sign in. If you keep using QuizAde after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms. If you don't agree, you should stop using the service.

17. General

These terms, the Privacy Policy and the Community Guidelines are the whole agreement between you and us about the service. If part of them can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce something right away, that doesn't mean we give up our right to. You may not transfer your rights under these terms to someone else; we may transfer ours as part of a change of ownership.
